How it works

Bailey does one thing, and does it well: it gives what you make a live address, and keeps everything it collects in your hands.

The idea

A website is a page (or a folder of pages) that a computer somewhere serves to visitors. Bailey is that computer, with two doors in, and the same guarantees behind both.

Door 1: ask your AI (the usual way)

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant to Bailey once (about twenty seconds, no keys to copy). From then on, you publish by asking:

You:  "Put my restaurant page online at chezmarco."
AI :  "It's live 🎉  https://chezmarco.trybailey.app"

The assistant builds the page, publishes it, updates it when you ask, and reads your numbers back to you. Bailey makes sure it can only ever touch your sites, and that any data collection declares what it’s for before going live. Start here: Connect your AI assistant.

Door 2: drop a folder (by hand)

You already have the site as files (a developer or a tool made you a folder)? Drag it into Bailey and it’s live at your address. The step-by-step is in Upload a folder by hand.

Either way, you get the same things

  • An address that’s yours: your-name.trybailey.app (or your own domain), secure padlock (HTTPS) included, nothing to configure.
  • Versions: every publish is kept; restore any earlier one in one click. You can’t lose a good state by trying things.
  • A control room: the dashboard shows what your site collected, its numbers, its versions, and a one-click way to take it offline.
  • Privacy handled: if your site collects anything personal (an email, a message), Bailey requires a stated purpose before it can go live, and can auto-delete old records for you. You answer in plain words; the register writes itself.

What you don’t have to do

  • Install software, rent a “server”, set up a database or DNS.
  • Manage keys, tokens, or anything you’d have to keep secret.
  • Trust an AI blindly: the assistant works inside Bailey’s fences (your sites only, your data only, every action visible in your dashboard).
