Versions & rollback

Every time you publish, Bailey keeps a snapshot of what you uploaded. You never overwrite your site by accident: the old version is still there, and you can go back to it whenever you want.

Each drop is a new version

When you drag your folder into the drop zone, Bailey:

Stores everything you dropped as a brand-new version.
Makes it the live one (the one your visitors see).
Keeps every previous version untouched, in case you need it.

Your address never changes between versions: only what’s served behind it.

Find your versions

Open your project. Under Overview, below the drop zone, you’ll see the list of every version, newest first. The current one carries a live badge.

Each version shows:

A name: Bailey gives every version a friendly name automatically (like Vengeful Castiel) so you’re not staring at a wall of dates. Click the name to rename it to whatever makes sense to you.
A date: when it was published.
A description (optional): expand a version and type a note to your future self (“added the pricing page”, “client’s logo update”).
Its files: expand a version to see exactly what it contains.

Roll back to an older version

Made a change you regret? Next to any older version, click Restore. That version instantly becomes the live one again. Nothing is lost: your most recent upload is still in the list, ready to be restored in turn.

Think of it as undo for your whole site.

One limit to know

Each version has a size limit that depends on your plan (50 MB on the free plan). If your folder is bigger, Bailey tells you before uploading; nothing is ever half-published. If you hit it, it’s usually a stray video or an un-optimized image: trim it and drop again.
