The "Hosted on Bailey" badge

Every site published on Bailey carries a small badge in the bottom corner:

✦ Hosted on Bailey

It’s discreet, it doesn’t move your layout, and it doesn’t watch your visitors; it’s a link, nothing more. It’s how people discover Bailey from the sites built with it, which is what pays for the free plan.

On a paid plan, you can remove it.

Remove it

Open your project, and in the settings look for “Show the ‘Hosted on Bailey’ badge”. Switch it off, and your published pages carry no badge.

The change is live right away: reload your site and it’s gone. Nothing to re-upload, and re-publishing your folder later won’t bring it back.

You can put it back at any time, and that stays true even if your plan changes.

On the free plan

The setting is there, but locked: the badge is what the free plan trades for free hosting. Everything else about your site is untouched: your pages, your data, your visitors. It’s a badge, not a limitation.

If you go back to the free plan

The badge comes back. It’s tied to your plan, not to a one-time choice, so dropping to the free plan restores it on your published pages within a few minutes.

Your setting isn’t lost, though. Move back to a paid plan and the badge disappears again, without you having to touch anything.

Plans live on the organization

The badge follows the organization that owns the project, not you. A project in a paid organization can drop its badge; the same project moved to your personal space on the free plan gets it back. See Plans & limits.

The badge is also a “Fork this page” button

If you turned on forking for a project, the badge becomes a small menu offering visitors an editable copy of your page (the page only, never the data you collected). Hiding the badge hides that menu too: no badge, no fork offer.

If you want people to be able to copy your page, keep the badge on.
